When To Add The Suffixes - ING - To An English Word

ING is a suffixes which is added only to all English Verb, except ones without participles.

This is done so as to make the verb Present Continuous. 

Examples:

Present Verb	Present Continuous Verb
Sit	Siting
Go	Going
Win	Wining
Stand	Standing

Also In certain cases there are spelling changes, such as doubling of consonants (as in sit → sitting) or omission or muting of e (as in change → changing).
