When To Use Google CSV format when backing up contact in Gmail.

The easiest way to keep/backup your Gmail contacts on a local file to export the contact.

But with different backup format available to you during exporting gmail contact, which are:

·         Google CSV format

·         Outlook CSV format

·         vCard format.

It is quite difficult to determine which one is best for you to use.

So which file format should you use to backup your gmail contact?

Well it all depend on how you wich to use the saved local file of your Gmail contact on later time.

If you which to use the gmail contact you are about to backup for another Gmail account, then it is highly recommended that you use the Google CSV format to export the contact.

Hence use the Google CSV format to export your gmail contact only when you want to transfer the contact to another gmail account.
